Notice the Gloster's tail is touching the perch. This is because the canary isn't standing correctly. To stop this, cut
a paper bag a little above perch level. Place the show cage in the bag. When the bird hears a sound it will stretch up on
the perch to see over the bag. This will teach the bird to stand correctly on the perch
